Viz was a stray from a nearby farm who was frequently spotted hunting on our property. In the Spring of 2017, she had three kittens under our deck. We nicknamed Cedric, Nigel, and Barnaby “The British Invasion” and had the whole family vetted, vaccinated, spayed and neutered. Viz nursed her kittens in the tack room of our barn and moved in to the cat house permanently, deciding that a warm cozy home with a ready supply of food was far preferable to life out in the elements as a stray. Ignoring the wide variety of cat trees, Viz loves to cuddle on the couch that she routinely shreds when sharpening her claws.
