Theo cat The Lily Farm Animal Sanctuary

Theo

Rainbow Bridge. Forever in our hearts.

Theo was a source of joy and love since the day of his arrival in February 2016. He had once been a beloved pet, but after his owner’s death the family released him out on the streets. He begged food from local neighbors until someone finally took him to an animal rescue organization. That’s where we met him and fell instantly in love.

Theo had an otherworldly aura about him – a very wise soul. He had the gift of looking into people’s eyes and really seeing them. He knew how to love and we felt it. Ever adorable, Theo provided comic relief with his champion drooling skills and a tongue that was perpetually sticking out.

Theo was 17 and on thyroid medication when his health took a dramatic turn for the worse in December 2019. Several veterinarian visits, medication and daily fluids could not prevent his approach toward the Rainbow Bridge as his body shut down and his kidneys gave out. Theo passed peacefully in January 2020. We all dearly miss his warm companionship but take comfort in knowing that his spirit is still with us here in his forever home.
