Olof a dog at at Lily Pond Animal Sanctuary

Olof

Olof was born into a hoarding situation at a local breeder who kept the dogs in stacked crates filled with feces without access to food or water. Law enforcement investigated the situation – the breeder was charged with cruelty and neglect and 39 dogs were confiscated and turned over to the Columbia Green Humane Society. Olof was a puppy at the time and spent months at the shelter until a kind soul agreed to foster him during the trial. The breeder was prohibited from owning dogs and now Olof has a forever home here at The Lily Pond. He’s a sweet, well-mannered boy who loves people and other dogs. His favorite activity is to be outside roaming the sanctuary property and helping us with all of our farm duties and construction work.
