This handsome chestnut quarter horse was a local denizen whose family contacted The Lily Pond when they could no longer care for him due to health and finances. We didn’t have enough space in our barn at the time, so our barn manager fostered him while we went to work building out another stall.
Mister Ed has triumphed over many health challenges, including a terrible abscess in his front hoof and a case of heaves, a respiratory issue. Mister Ed came home to the sanctuary in November 2019 and has thrived with the other horses, especially our pretty Palomino April, who he fancies!
