Halo was a gorgeous, sassy gal who arrived at the sanctuary in March 2016. At 12 years old, she was diagnosed with kidney disease and promptly dumped at a high kill shelter by her previous owner. A rescue organization pulled her, but she was not a popular adoption candidate due to the work of caring for her with a special diet, daily medication and subcutaneous fluids. We provide hospice care at the sanctuary and were happy to welcome her to our family. Halo loved to show off her beautiful green eyes and white floof! She had front paws looked like adorable bunny slippers.
Despite diligent care, her kidney disease progressed rapidly and she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in October 2016. Halo was a glamorous feline with a good heart. We know she’s still here in spirit, helping with our hospice care.
