Buttercup arrived in March 2020 with his best friend Sedley. Their previous owner sadly passed away from cancer and no one in the family could take the cats. We were contacted by their veterinarian regarding placement at the sanctuary due to their age and special needs.
Buttercup is a senior with thyroid issues and requires daily medication. He has a wonderful sing-song voice and loves to chat. The funniest thing about Buttercup is that he likes to be held upside down. Yes – upside down! This acrobatic move always makes him purr happily.
