Sweet, mysterious Abner arrived in February 2017 after being abandoned at a rest stop off the highway in the snows of winter. His former owners stopped, opened the door and after he hopped out, they drove off. A kind soul witnessed the abandonment and got Abner out of the cold. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep him and contacted a rescue. That’s when we got the call and welcomed him to our family.
Not long after his arrival, we noticed a funny thing: many of the cats would sprawl on top of him for a nap. This doesn’t happen with any other cat, so we concluded that Abner must have a sign over his head that reads “Comfy Pillow Here.”
